A meal of solidarity at “Agios Christoforos”

KYCLOS had the joy of organizing a community meal for the charitable association “Agios Christoforos,” an organization that has been supporting people with muscular diseases and other disabilities — as well as their families — for decades, creating a true community of care, dignity, and participation.

Just as refugees are not only “refugees,” people with disabilities are not defined only by their disability.They are people with personality, humor, strength, talents, stories, and dreams.

We felt great warmth during our visit and were truly happy that the people of “Agios Christoforos” opened their home to us and tasted our food 🫶

Moments like these remind us that community is built through connection, care, and sharing.
