Reunification of Palestinian families

Meeting with women and their children who arrived over the past year because of the war. The Palestinian fathers who are members of KYCLOS welcomed them, and in their eyes it was as if they were seeing their own wives, sisters, and mothers who are still in Gaza. The emotion is impossible to describe. And so is the admiration for the strength of these women and their children, who managed to survive.

They are here because they are facing serious health problems. All of these Palestinians are still waiting for family reunification procedures to be completed, something that in other countries is often facilitated through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. So far, not a single family reunification case has been completed in Greece. Let us hope that this will happen soon.
